Frequently Asked Questions

When will you update your shop?

If you would like a reminder when I add new products please sign up for my mailing list or follow me on Instagram.

I live in the Portland, Oregon area. Can I just pick up my order?

Yes please! Reach out and I will be happy to set up a time for you to pick up and waive shipping. The less packing materials the better!

Do you make custom orders?

Yes! I love to collaborate. Please reach out to me with what you are looking for.

Do you teach or have private lessons?

Not at this time no. Teaching is a goal of mine and if you sign up for my mailing list or follow me on Instagram you will be the first to know when I get there!

What if I want something that is sold out?

You are in luck. I can usually approximate most things I have made before. The nature of making things by hand means that no two pots will be exactly the same, but I can come very close. Just reach out though the contact tab and I can do a custom order at the same price you see for the item I am reproducing. This will take at least 2 weeks.

Can I order two things that are exactly the same?

Please keep in mind that all pieces are handmade in small batches, causing slight variations in color and form. The product you receive will be unique. I celebrate the movement in my materials, and the glaze drips, throwing marks, and fingerprints are intentional. That said I can make things very close to one another if making them at the same time. Please contact me for a custom order.

What firing range do you work in?

I am currently working in Cone 6 stoneware and firing in electric kilns. This method of making is very sustainable as I try to be conscious of my footprint on the planet. If I participate in a different firing type or clay I will mention that in the description.

Are your pots microwave and dishwasher safe?

All pottery is dishwasher, microwave, and food safe and made with non-toxic clay and glazes.

Do you accept returns?

Yes. I will refund the item cost but no shipping or return postage. Please reach out within three days of delivery.

There is a little bump/smudge on my pot. Is that normal?

Because of the nature of making ceramics by hand there will be variations in color and surface. I try to document this in my photos, so please look closely before purchasing. Please send me an image of the marking if you would like to talk about it.

Where is your studio?

I am happily working under the Morrison Bridge at Raidus Studios. I love the community there and look forward to the time I spend making.
